Eat Like an Egyptian

If dining under the stars in front of an Egyptian pyramid sounds awesome to you, listen up! Wealthy foodies can mark their calendars for Dec. 12, 2008, when 30 3-star Michelin chefs from around the world will be flown to Egypt to cook a dinner in front of the ancient Pyramids of Giza for a 'Epicurean Masters of the World' event. The event planners are currently anticipating on selling roughly 500 tickets at about $10,000 a piece, which totals to 5 million dollars.  The dinner is currently being marketed to ‘millionaires,’ but hey who’s to say you can’t attend…assuming you have 10k burning a hole in your pocket.  I know I do!  (kidding!) Organizers are 'considering' giving profits from the dinner to an organization or charity that deals with conserving the Seven Wonders of the World.

It’s good to know that all of that money may be put to good use.
