Healthy Food For Kids

The other day, while wandering around my neighborhood on the Upper East Side, I noticed a bunch of new shops springing up all over the place that all remind me of the brightly colored, homogenized look of Pinkberry.  One of these new stores that caught my eye was “Kidfresh,” which sells packaged freshly prepared kids meals to-go, similar to what FreshDirect offers for adults.

The Kidfresh website says their meals are guaranteed to be healthy, balanced, age-specific, fun and customizable.  Basically they are helping parents take the guess work and time out of preparing lunch or even dinner for their kids.

I have to say that I’m thoroughly intrigued.  I like the convenience and the fact that the meals have a set amount of calories according to the age group your child is in.  I predict great things for Kidfresh, especially in urban areas.  What do you think?
