Yummr's Main Dish

Motherly Love

She brought you into this world, changed your diapers, fed you and clothed you, put up with your tantrums, did your laundry, and most importantly loved you.  You really think a pre-written card and flowers will cut it for someone that has done so much to keep you alive and well?  I didn’t think so.  What better way to start the day with breakfast in bed!  Here are a few things you can buy to make this an unforgettable experience for your mother.

Say “I Love You” through food, literally with a Pop Art Toaster.

Splash waffles using Cuisinart WMR-HBC Heart-Shaped Waffle Maker in Brushed Stainless and splash them with Dean & Deluca Maple Syrup.

Keep a balanced and complete diet with Florida Juice Oranges because according to This Next, “Mom doesn’t do “from frozen concentrate”.

Finish it off with a cup of coffee made with LA Mill Royal Supreme Coffee Blend served in a Bodum Chambord 3-Cup Coffee Press.

BUT listen to This Next, “Sure, you can buy cooking stuff for Mother's Day, but DON'T YOU DARE GIVE IT TO MOM as a gift. Use the stuff YOURSELF to surprise her with breakfast in bed.”  Do the work for her even if pancakes or toast are all you can do.  It’s the thought that counts, just don’t tell her who your source is (kidding!). Innocent
