Top Chef Is Hiring!

Want to be a Top Chef?  Would you settle with working for one?  Harold Dieterle, winner of the first season of Top Chef is hiring!  Word has it he is looking for sous chefs and pastry chefs for his new restaurant in NYC called Perilla. Perilla, a member of the mint family, also known as shiso, is very popular in East and Southeast Asian cusisine.  Which leads me to believe that Harold is planning on serving some sort of Thai or Asian-esque food.  I personally hope he does some sort of Thai, because I have been really into Thai food lately.

Can't wait to see what Ilan Hall has in store for us as well.  Word has it he is opening a restaurant here in NYC sometime this year also.
