Forum Search Tips Close

Basics

  1. Search syntax is similar to Google searches.
  2. Words shorter than 4 characters are ignored.
  3. Searches are NOT case-sensitive.
  4. Automatic 'and' queries: The search will only return pages that include all of your search terms.
  5. Only the body of the post is searched by default. Use the Advanced search to also search by subject.
  6. Word variation/stemming is currently not supported. For example, if you search for acting or acted, the search will not return results for act.

Phrase Searches

Sometimes you'll only want results that include an exact phrase. In this case, simply put quotation marks around your search terms. E.g. "cool video games"

Negative Terms

If your search term has more than one meaning (bass, for example, could refer to fishing or music) you can focus your search by putting a minus sign ("-") in front of words related to the meaning you want to avoid. For example, here's how you'd find pages about bass-heavy lakes, but not bass-heavy music: bass -music

Saw your ad on DCFoodies.com, and I figured I'd come check things out.  Not much to tell other than the fact that I used to do product demonstrations at Trader Joe's.

So excited you all are joining us from all over the world! All of us NYers need to realize good food DOES exist in the US outside of  NYC :)

Yes, there exists good food outside NY :-).  And there is no better bread than in Germany :-) I am a German foodie, who likes to cook. I have a foodblog since June 2005. Küchenlatein http://ostwestwind.twoday.net is a kitchen dairy with recipes for delicious cooking and baking in everyday life. The blog is written in German and English

Hello all,

I'm a former New Yorker (as if there is such a thing), now living in Pa. I found this site while surfing. It's great.

I am totally reclarifying my earlier statement...I meant good restaurants/food culture in the US outside of NYC. Of course there is across the globe and I am sure much much better! Welcome to the community! Your blog is awesome, you have amazing recipes!
