What I'm Watching
I don't watch tv much but when I turn it on this is what I happen to watch:
Food Network (pretty much any show)
Small claims court tv (a la Judge Hatchett)
Friends
and for some reason, Two and A Half Men...I don't even like this show, but it's always on when I turn on the tv. Do they EVER play anything else on the cw11?
Tastiest Libations

Most coveted item
hmmm...I think a portable grill so I can grill things in my apt. And maybe a (real) double boiler for working with chocolate. And a blender. And a Cuisinart. Buy me these things...please?

- About time for a blog entry, I say...

I think a cupcake cookoff deserves its very own blog posts. I already wrote about it in the forums, but I wanted to expand on the experience/add some more pictures here for one and all to enjoy (and drool over).
Although it must be noted that, after last night, I can never, ever, EVER eat another cupcake again. Well, at least not for a while. I didn't even eat that much, but still, I think I'm cupcake-d out. I didn't even know that was possible.
You see this? This is just one of many, many rows of boxes filled with cupcakes:

I didn't have the green/ice cream cone ones, but I did have a quarter of the ones in the box behind it. Chocolate beer cupcakes (that's right, beer baked into it) and caramel frosting, drizzled with even more caramel. I talked to the girl who made them, and after she explained what kind of cupcakes they were, she said, "They're number 21. Like the drinking age? Isn't that hilarious?" (Each set of cupcakes was assigned a number)
I don't know what kind these are, but they look nummy.

GUNS! When you split it in half, you'd find it was filled with a red jelly filling. Like blood. Get it?

I didn't try these cupcakes, but they sure look awesome. Probably because they're stuffed into ice cream cones.

I already posted pictures of our mess in the forums, but how about one more for kicks:

This is earlier in the evening, before the cupcake pan became PILED with wrappers and uneaten cupcakes.
And this night of cupcakes and sticky hands? FREE. Plus the winners got prizes. Free + prizes? Sounds like a good evening to me! And it was :) We had a great time, and I can't wait to go back next year...except I might go on a fast beforehand so I don't stuff myself quite so much, haha.
